Jodi Nicoli
Jodi Nicolli became a member of the SIERF board in 2010. Her current role is with TTI, Inc. headquarted in TX. She is responsible for the marketing efforts of the Transportation Business Unit at TTI, Inc. Current responsibilities include the following:
Marketing Management:
o Execute marketing plans for the target market by understanding the product and needs of the engineers to create and maintain a lead marketing position
o Coordinate advertising and promotional programs with ad agency
o Accountable for indirectly affecting sales by product marketing for key suppliers
o Increase customer base and generate leads by determining ways to further market
o Develop marketing campaigns that create awareness, generate sales and referrals
o Attend TBU Quarterly Business Review and present accomplishments, future goals, and recommendations
Marketing Campaign Strategist:
o Develop ideas for the TBU branding & positioning campaigns that promote the TBU as a market leader
o Maintain TBU marketing budget
o Provide monthly metrics and reports to Senior Management relative to business trends, productivity, and design wins
o “Product of the Month” promotional/information source in development
o Assist in identifying new products to promote
Marketing Communications:
o Implement product/service positioning & promotional strategies
o Lead the efforts of the TBU in the development and design of marketing literature such as catalogs, brochures, quick reference guides, and e-blasts, press releases and other promotional material
o Create monthly newsletter “What’s New in the TBU”
o Acquire and present Voice of the Customer results
Product/Brand Management:
o Plan product launch activities for key suppliers
o Grow the business by supplier focused marketing campaigns
o Build relationships with key suppliers by developing co-op marketing campaigns
o Acquire market knowledge about product families in order to determine promotion ability
o Liaison with inside/outside sales reps, branch management, suppliers, and customers
o Develop and manage an engineering database that will serve as an unmet need for engineers, OEM’s, and wire harness manufacturers
o Developing a Vertical Market Supplier Campaign for the TBU
o Build gateway and feature product pages for suppliers in IoN Content Management System
o Coordinate and attend all TBU trade shows
Internet/Online Marketing:
o Analyze monthly web analytics and reports
o Plan, strategize, write, and execute TBU email marketing campaigns
o Online media/marketing budgeting, strategy & execution, including banner ads, emails, & paid search marketing
o Work with corporate marketing to assure web pages are SEO, and develop PPC and ad word campaign
Previous roles provided not only marketing, but sales and Human Resource involvement.
Jodi went to Kent State University from 1985-1987 and was majoring in Business Management & Marketing and Internet and Online Marketing.
She is a member of Tech Savy Women.
Not only is she a SIERF Board Member but, she volunteers for the following groups:

o The Gathering Place
o Foster home for the Cleveland APL
