Julianna Gustafson's Story

My daughter Margot was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder at 19 months. Her unusual behavior kept mounting, and my pediatrician never really had answers to why she kept banging her teeth on the floor of the bathtub, or hated touching sand or grass, or refused to eat any kind of meat, or cried in bright sunlight, or needed to be held constantly, or refused to wear capri pants or 3/4-length sleeves, or avoided certain textures, or avoided physical contact with other children, or pulled out large chunks of her hair, etc. The list seemed to go on and on.

Ethel Arias' Story

My name is Ethel Arias. I have a daughter that has a learning disability and has a Speech Delay. Unfortunately because she doesn’t have a major disability, there was a limited amount of resources through the school district. I have been worried and very confuse because my daughter is 6 years old a cannot speak in a single sentence. I met Mrs. Kathy and she told me about this organization, SIERF. After speaking with Mrs. Kathy, I found peace of mind that my child will be okay and that her organization will help me.
